Mountains, Desert, and etc:
Israel also has four major land regions. The Coastal Plains, The Rift Valley, Judeo-Galilean Highlands, and the Negev Desert. Most of the Israeli's live in the Coastal Plains area, and most of the lands agriculture and industries are located in this land-form. The Negev Desert is the driest place in the country of Israel. The desert is mostly used for grazing because it rarely rains so it cannot support crops. Rivers, Streams, and Seas: There are many rivers and seas that run through Israel. Many of which we are aware of like the Jordan and Dead Sea. We know of the Dead Sea and how its so salty you don't need a tube to float. Many of the landmarks in Israel are from historic events. Such as the 10 plagues on Pharaoh in the Bible times. Also the Jordan river is in the mist of some of the many stories we like to read in our everyday quiet times. Though we do not live or are close to these many bodies of water we know highly of them and want to know more. |
