Some of the Jewish holidays we might celebrate in our culture today too. For example The Passover. My family celebrates this holiday with our church body but I'm not saying that it has to be yours. Another holiday or event is when King Nebuchadnezzar the Babylon emperor made siege on Jerusalem on the 10th day of the Jewish month of Tevet. Foods: The food in all of Israel is very unique in every which way possible. The people of Israel eat three meals a day like the american culture does. For breakfast the usual is fresh vegetables, cheeses, shakshooka, salad, labane, and jachnun. Lunch and dinner are very different they mostly have cultural food. Pita bread and hummus, also shnitzel and shwarma. Snacks and desserts are very unique too. Like crepes, sahlab, and Israeli ice-cream. |
